Born and raised in Pforzheim, Germany, Softbuster's appreciation of music began at an early age. By the age of 10, Softbuster was playing organ and at age of seventeen Softbuster played keyboards in a local heavy metal band. He started to produce electronic Music in 1988 as member of various Amiga Demo Groups.
